Food TrucksThe Los Angeles area has some of the best food trucks around: in a 2013 survey by The Daily Meal, the city boasted more food trucks in the top 101 than any other. If you happen upon any of the following trucks in Los Angeles, you’ll likely find it worth your while to grab a bite and see what the hype is about.

– Fist of Fusion. Providing a combination of Filipino and Hawaiian food, Fist of Fusion has earned plaudits for menu items like its marinated short ribs and Kalua Pork Sisig. The truck formerly went by the name Truck Norris.

– Jogasaki Sushi Burrito. Jogasaki’s chef has taken a successful stab at combining burritos and sushi. A typical Jogasaki creation involves sticky rice stuffed with sushi fixings like spicy tuna and barbecue eel, engulfed in a tortilla or a soy paper wrap.

– LudoTruck. Ludo brings a high-class reputation to the food truck business. Its chef trained for more than a decade at restaurants that earned the coveted Michelin three-star rating, and he has appeared on several cooking shows. His fried chicken, in particular, has earned extensive praise from critics.
